Air Astana has reported a loss of $94 million for 2020.
The 2020 figure, just the second-ever yearly loss for the flag-provider of Kazakhstan, was the result of total or partial shutdowns prompted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The closures resulted in ability and revenue falls of 47 for every cent and 55 per cent, respectively.
Overall passengers carried fell by 28 for each cent to 3.7 million.
Even so, the carrier is estimating economical overall performance for the blended months of January and February are at the maximum level due to the fact 2017 as the fightback starts.
Commenting on the final results, Air Astana chief government, Peter Foster, mentioned: “While the devastating impact of the pandemic on global vacation desires no elaboration, the airline is resilient.

The airline retired its fleets of Boeing 757 and Embraer 190 plane in 2020.
