The Bahamas has shut its borders to the United States. Due to the continued increase in COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in the U.S., as effectively as an uptick in instances in the Bahamas, Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, has made the selection to close borders to international commercial flights and commercial vessels carrying travellers from the United States.
