Azamara Will Add Former Pacific Princess as Fourth Ship in Fleet
The former Pacific Princess, which Carnival Corporation said last week was sold to an undisclosed buyer, is heading to the Azamara fleet. Sycamore Associates, the personal fairness firm that not long ago introduced it will purchase Azamara from Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., said today that as soon as the sale closes, that fourth ship will join the fleet.
Adhering to a complete renovation, the still-unnamed ship will start off an inaugural period in Europe in 2022. Equivalent in dimension to the brand’s existing fleet—Azamara Pursuit, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest—the fourth ship will increase Azamara’s overall potential by 33 per cent.
