KC Hoppe Leaves Backroads; Alicia Kjeldgaard to Manage Agency Program

In a letter sent to Luxury Travel Advisor, Backroads founder and president Tom Hale has introduced that KC Hoppe has left the firm immediately after approximately 20 years. In her absence, Alicia Kjeldgaard will be managing the company’s vacation agency plan and business enhancement from its Berkeley, CA office environment.

“KC has impacted the life of numerous of us right here in the Berkeley business office and all over the entire world, and her name is woven into the material of the travel industry far further than Backroads,” claimed Hale in the letter. “It’s tough to think about how we could have made it through the travails of the past yr without having KC’s tireless initiatives, and her positivity and heat will truly be missed. KC has options to vacation and invest a lot more time with her spouse, Ted. We are enthusiastic for what the long term has to supply, and we surely hope our paths will cross once again.”

Hoppe began with the business in 2013 as the director of vacation market relations, in advance of shifting to roles as the guest companies manager and then as assistant director of sales.
