Qantas offers seven-hour ‘flight to nowhere’ | News

Whilst most airways are trying to get to improve their environmental credentials and slash carbon emissions, Australian carrier Qantas has taken the reverse tack.

The flag-carrier will next month offer you a 7-hour trip all around the state, using off from and returning to Sydney Domestic Airport.

The scenic flight will use a state-of-the-artwork B787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Generally reserved for lengthy haul international flights, the aircraft presents the most important home windows on any passenger aircraft, Qantas said.

The trip will include things like lower-level flybys of unique Australian places across Queensland, the Northern Territory and New South Wales.

Highlights include things like the Wonderful Barrier Reef, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Byron Bay and legendary Sydney Harbour.

The flight arrives as most international Qantas departures remained grounded as Australia battles the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nonetheless, domestic trips are currently on offer you.
