The Church Inn, Mobberley, has been crowned one particular of 15 regional winners in the once-a-year Nationwide Pub and Bar Awards for the next time.

The 18th century Quality II listed inn received the nationwide award in 2019 and is the only pub in Cheshire featured in the Michelin Tutorial for Wonderful Britain and Eire 2021.

Owner Tim Chicken and wife Mary McLoughlin are exceptionally proud of their team.

Tim mentioned: “We rescued the pub from closure back in 2012, restored it from a close to derelict state and re-opened it in June 2013.
