Viking Aton to join fleet in Egypt next year | News

Viking has declared an expansion of its Egypt fleet with Viking Aton, a new condition-of-the-artwork river vessel.

Impressed by the style and design of the award-profitable Viking Longships and created specifically to navigate the Nile River, Viking Aton is now underneath construction and is scheduled to debut in late 2022.

Sailing on Viking’s common Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary, the new vessel will sign up for Viking’s existing Egypt river fleet, which features its identical sister ship Viking Osiris and Viking’s very first owned and operated ship on the Nile, Viking Ra.

“Egypt remains a major destination for quite a few of our visitors who are motivated to find out the loaded background and attractiveness of the location,” reported Torstein Hagen, chairman of Viking.

“We will generally retain our motivation to making significant ordeals that are focused on the spot.

“The addition of Viking Aton is a reflection of our ongoing investment in Egypt we search forward to introducing the country’s cultural treasures to even far more Viking attendees in the foreseeable future.”

Web hosting 82 friends in 41 staterooms, Viking Aton will be a point out-of-the-art ship with the thoroughly clean, tasteful Scandinavian design for which Viking is recognized.

The brand offers culturally enriching, location-focused river and ocean cruises for travellers curious about the globe, its wealthy lifestyle and diversified background.
