Internationally acclaimed Janice Sylvia Brock has unveiled her latest collection of paintings.

Oozing with strength, this energetic woman divides her time in between homes in Alderley Edge and Barbados in which she has studio galleries.

Her work hangs in personal collections in Europe, South Africa, Australia , New Zealand, Japan and Canada.

Tropical bouquets and the heat and energy of the Caribbean are some of her favorite subjects.

“I love colour,” said Janice. “I do the job with oils on canvas. West Indian women of all ages have vivacious physiques. Jamaica is lovely. I am not concerned of applying colour.”

“Persons, places and motion inspire me,” she said. “Doing work on a more substantial scale, you can check out color and movement.”

Janice used two months in a spa painting four murals, each just one measuring 12ft by 10ft, building four goddesses to mirror the 4 seasons.

“It was really hard performing in the heat but I like huge areas.”

Born in Manchester, she vividly remembers her to start with exhibition in a library.

“A female came in and ran out into the streets screaming that I had nudes on the wall. Anyone was curious so it grew to become a authentic success and I marketed most of my paintings.

“I have just been blessed and always had great people today working with me.”

Janice’s job has been stellar as she is consistently commissioned by company consumers and celebrities.
