Princess, Carnival Revise Cancellation Policies Due to Coronavirus

Princess Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line have temporarily revised their cancellation policies due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Both new policies will be in effect for cruises and cruise tours departing through May 31.

Princess said that the details of its revised policy vary by departure date:

Lufthansa, YLG Adopt Flexible Change Policy; JetBlue Extends It

The Lufthansa Group and Yankee Leisure Group (YLG) – the operator of Railbookers and Amtrak Vacations – have modified their cancellation and change policies due to the coronavirus outbreak. JetBlue has also extended its preexisting change waiver. 

Lufthansa Group airlines (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Air Dolomiti) have introduced a general rebooking option through March 31. The Lufthansa Group airlines will waive the rebooking fees for all newly booked flights worldwide and offer a one-time rebooking, regardless of the condition of the original booking fare purchased. Silversea, Riviera River Cruises Update Cancellation Policies

Silversea and Riviera River Cruises have updated their cancellation and rebooking options for guests concerned about the coronavirus.

Silversea’s new rebooking options are as part of parent company Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s “Cruise With Confidence” initiative; the options build on the luxury cruise line’s new coronavirus cancellation policy, which it announced March 5. 

Guests on cruises departing before July 31, including both existing and new bookings, now have the additional option of cancelling their voyage as late as 48 hours prior to sailing. Guests who cancel will be provided with a Future Cruise Credit.

Air Astana seeks to insulate Kazakhstan from coronavirus | News

Air Astana has made a number of flight schedule changes resulting from the global spread of the coronavirus.

The action has been taken in accordance with measures introduced by the ministry of health of the republic of Kazakhstan.

With effect this month, the number of weekly services between Nur-Sultan and Seoul has been reduced from two to one, while services between Almaty and Seoul have been reduced from five to one per week.
